ABOUT Harriet
Harriet Scott was born and raised in North Carolina. Growing up in a faith filled, multi-denominational family, she learned from a young age what it was like to sit at a table with many different opinions, views, and religious sentiments. The makings of a bridge builder were being formed around those tables and those conversations.
Meanwhile, in the “secret place” the Lord was forming a radical lover of his presence and his deep friendship. At eight years old she heard the voice of the Lord call, “Follow Me” and she has never been the same.
With Jesus being her first love, people come next. True hospitality is the lived-out form of VALUING the inherent dignity of the human person. She worked for years in the craft coffee scene and is excited for that to be an integral part of the Exodus 3:5 initiative. Coffee being the process to get to the table.
